Tibot,Tibot,Tibot,
Be of good cheer! Could it be that the journey is the destination?
I merely meant to point out that previously you had impressed me as a lucid, well thought out and sincere debator (or seeker of truth if you'ld rather). I was surprised by the shallowness of it. Pity you won't be at the cathedral this evening, we could arrange a meet up.That being said, to take your post and go home was probably a bit much. You were at the very least sincere, if not as well spoken as normal. I'm sure that anyone who has posted more than a few times has had occaision to read their posts and wince.
For my part as I sat in front of the keyboard yesterday evening I truly struggled with whom to address, you or the Owl ! I admit that at first viewing of the picture I had a negative reaction similar to yours and fully understand why you posted in such a manner. The last three posts are very unlike Fr. Kiely and I'm not sure what to make of them. In the end though I just could not see my way clear to defending the honor of Bp. Trautman.
Now you've gone and left my post a perplexing orphan to later readers. (sigh), guess I'll have to figure out how this removal process works.

Brethren! English humour is perhaps not well understood this side of the pond - I felt it was time we all lightened up!! Watch Monty Python and you will see my 'photo-jokes' are very gentle - let's use those chuckle muscles!

Good afternoon Fr. Owl. Fawlty Towers and Coupling provide me with many more laughs per minute (albeit a bit bawdy) than any show produced here in the "colonies". I can quote virtually all of "The search for the Holy Grail" and Benny Hill is no mystery to me. Understanding and appreciating english humor (or should I say humour? :) ) does nothing to diminish the abrupt change of direction of your three recent posts. Then another hard turn with the Maris Stella. I can't keep up ! :)
I will take your advice and exercise my chukle muscles tonight as I chuckle with pure joy from 7:00 to 8:15 at St. Joseph's.
Regards

Fr.,
Tibot posted while I was writing and when I came back and read it I chukled, guffawed even.
Does that count?
