A site written by a Catholic priest in a Northern Diocese of the United States. Musings, thoughts, ideas - from an orthodox perspective. "Man has a body as well as a soul, and the whole of man, soul and body, is nourished sanely by a multiplicity of observed traditional things." Hilaire Belloc

Beautiful picture. This has always been one of my favorite of Mary's titles and patronages:
“Find for Me other men like yourself,
an army of brave, generous, unselfish men,
and send them into the lands
where the children of the Faith are suffering.”
I have often thought that it would be wonderful if there was a Mercedarian renewal under the patronage of Our Lady of Ransom that focused on rescuing modern day sufferers of slavery and human trafficking.
